Alpha testers, has anyone noticed this on game pass. They’re a little skewed

Generally alpha testing is done in house by testers and quality control. Sometimes when publisher wants to test network stability, they might open an alpha to limited public test but not that frequently. You could always apply to game companies as a game
tester.

Basically if you join alpha ring the bugs can get worse as these.are advance betas before anyone else and before sending to beta and lower rings

Thats why they limit the testers

Its not for everyone and we get complaints from alpha testers or even beta testera on forums even though they aggree to the test and get some bugs and they still complain

If you're talking about the Insider Preview rings then yes, if you are a fan of all things Xbox and want to get your hands on the newest software before it even goes live to almost anyone else then yeah. Most changes are nominal because of how frequent
they are but, over time you start to notice things. Its a cool little thing and if you get the chance to join it I would recommend it, you just have to be willing to deal with bugs and try not to get frustrated. Its basically like a beta tester's paradise
except you get it before they do... being an Alpha Tester is something to be coveted for almost any game because you get to do it first, you know?

I don't fault the play testers nor the alpha and beta testers. I have been in alpha and beta programs. We can only report what we find. If the programmers/company don't listen or don't allocate resources to resolve the problems, its not the tester's faults.

I'm fine with alpha and beta test.It usually helps devs to polish their games and get feedbacks from alpha/beta testers.

But give money for an unfinished game(this already excist),pay to be a beta tester,i don't see what's good in this business model,for both sides (consumers/developpers).....
