    (Alpha/Series X) Certain games won't load or freezer the console


    They biggest offender is Cold War. It either will not load at all or will freeze my console after it kicks back to the Xbox home, forcing it into a shut down.

    I've also experienced this with The Last Scape and Ghost Recon Wildlands.

    Restarting the console made everything but Cold War work. Which I have uninstalled and reinstalled and it still has the above issue.

    Is this an alpha insider issue?

    And yes, I've reported the issue. It's been ongoing for cold war for over a month.

    Hulu crashing

    Same problem for me. Series X, Alpha Skip Ahead. As soon as an Hulu tries to load an ad, it crashes to the dashboard. I have reported it through the console too.

    Copy games/savegames to Series S

    One thing I personally cannot say for certain is if those games loading from the external hard drive will run the same way they would if they were installed straight onto the console...
    If you load games on the Series X or S from an external hard drive they will load the same as they do on a regular Xbox One. There won't be any performance issues. Games installed on a external SSD (SATA SSD not the Expansion Card) will load faster then
    they would before due to the much faster I/O on the Series X/S.

    If you move your games to either the internal storage or the optional Expansion card, you will see significant loading speed improvements. They'll be massive on a game such as Odyssey. Fast traveling in 5 seconds rather than 40 on a regular Xbox One or One
    X!

    To use the Series X/S 'Quick Resume' on Xbox One or other BC games will require said games to be installed internally or to the Expansion Card. Series X/S games can only be installed on the Internal or Expansion card.

    my solution is to just wait it out, yup, and when you see the achievement progress thing pop up on the right, hold Y on it, you should be good from then

    Same problem here in my xs, freeze on xbox screen. Cant play, cant download, cant do nothing. Im alpha skip ahead to. How is possible send upgrades without any previous test? This issue is to bad....

    I tried the pixellated screen option, it booted for about 2s then turned itself off
