    Alpha Build - Mixer App still in collection, and cannot be removed.


    The Mixer app is still present after the latest Alpha Build, and there is no option to uninstall as suggested by the patchnotes for this build. Interestingly, the app seemed to be removed immediately following the update, but was automatically reinstalled a few minutes later as a blank tile with no title. After a restart, the Mixer tile art was restored.

    I have reported this on the console.

    @op you CANNOt install anythiing with the public release

    It a closed browser

    You can only run html5 apps

    And limited amount of extensions in the insiders alpha build NOT public release builds

    If the Alpha experimental build from a few weeks ago is anything to go by at least the Mixer tab will be a bit less intrusive in the future than it is now, but currently there is no option to hide it sadly.

    There is a alpha update available today, but since you want the public update, you need to unregister the console, so it will update to the latest public build. If you cannot access the console, then download the xbox insider app on windows 10, and if you can, unregister the console.

    Remove mixer and community app from my console

    With the latest update the mixer app will be discontinued as mixer will be accessed through homepage instead of an app. Best part of doing this is it wont crash as its not an app anymore
    No you cannot remove it / delete it or disable it on xbox one.

    My console has the latest update (yesterdays update) and community and mixer is well and truly stuck in my games and apps with no way of disabling it or moving the tiles to another location or anything like that.

    As the main conversation here is why are we being forced with these apps.
