    Alpha build causing screen flash with HDR


    It seems with this latest build, at least with Vizio P series quantum, some Apps (HBO, Amazon, Plex) cause the screen to flash.

    Im guessing there is a change in Resolution or something as the TV goes black, then flashes 2160p HDR, works fine, goes black, and does the same.

    Tried changing bit rates, Dolby Vision, HDR 10, and all the other settings I could disable, but only disabling entirely seems to fix.

    Issue started last week. No TV updates and in Xbox Series S. My Samsung QN90B downstairs on Series X does not have the same issues.

    This is EXACTLY how my system is set up. Sound is working perfectly but the video is flashing. Not a constant flash but mainly a black screen then as if the HDR mode keeps resetting, the banner in the upper right corner of the screen signifying hdr has
    initialized will get brighter, image that should be showing on screen will appear for a split second and then back to black screen all while the atmos sound never waivers.

    that was changed in the netcode for the Alpha build appears to be causing this issue again?
    did you manage to get this sorted, i've had no luck.

    My TV (LG 60UF7300) has the HDMI Ultra HD Deep Color as well. According to the Xbox One S support page, this is another name for HDR 10. Unfortunately, I've been having an issue with the Ultra HD Deep Color turned on. It's causing my screen to flash black
    pretty frequently. It also says that HDR is turned off and that I can turn it on on a different menu, but the option is not selectable.
