Almost unplayable

Sorry hadn't looked at this thread for a while.

Have given up trying to play it now.

They had another update, think it was only for the new DLC, but hasn't sorted the problems.

Why on earth would they not sort out issues before trying to sell you new content, beggars belief.

@dainja raas, couldn't have said it better myself.

The ping speeds have not changed since I first played the game and it has only been a problem since the update.

 

The update made things marginally worse for me, as I now get the UI freezing when joining a lobby most of the time, as well as at the beginning/end of matches.

I hope they get it fixed in the next update, as it's quite annoying the way it is now.

 

Yeah this pissing me off alot too, thought it was just my XBone but then I played on my brother inlaws system and I had the same issues.

 

Well if everyone else is already playing and you are the only one lagging then its a connection issue on your end. I would go to xbox settings, internet or connection, mac address and clear of find an alternate mac address. This helps if you haven't done
it before. I haven't played the game in a while so I don't know what the latest update did.

 

According to one of the devs, the UI freezing at the beginning and end of matches has already been fixed as part of the next update, although he didn't give a release date for it.

 

I have been trying to complete the IMC campaign for the achievement and I keep getting disconnected it's getting frustrating

 

It seems like this game has lost all support.

I hadn't played for a while due to Destiny coming out, but when I went back a couple of weeks ago, I was shocked by the loading lag on pre-match/lobby screens, and the post match scoring screens.

It constantly stalls and hangs before actually doing anything, and on the load-out select screen it hangs and won't let you select your pilot and titan load-outs right away.

I really enjoy this game, but it's becoming less enjoyable due to these issues, and made worse by the apparent lack of interest from the developer to sort it out.

I'm guessing these issues are partly responsible for the dropping numbers of players.

 

The biggest update to Titanfall yet was announced today, so they're still supporting it. They didn't announce the details, but there's rumours that it will include some kind of horde mode. There's some kind of press conference for it at 10 AM today US time.

 

Thankfully the new update fixed the menu freezing issues for me

(nothing to do with my connection to the idiots who spout off the same drivel everytime)

Has brought me back to the game.

 

Yep, it's fixed, thankfully! The lobby/matchmaking stuff seems to work better than it ever has now.
