Almost unplayable

Is anyone else having connection problems with Titanfall?

Since the latest update it has become almost unplayable for me.

It takes ages to connect, when the game starts I am already on the ground and having to press start to activate a burn card, everyone else has started the battle,

at the end of the game I cannot look through the report for several seconds, it normally lets me look at about 48 seconds, by this time I have very little time to change load outs or add burn cards.

This would be a pretty good game if it wasn't for all the bugs.

The load times have always been slow, but now they have become unbearable.

You don't even get time to have a look through challenges etc without getting timed out from the server.

I have never come across problems like this before, in call of duty you can take as long as you like changing load outs etc. Why do I have to be connected to a server to do this? and if I do have to be connected, don't kick me out when I am half way through
changing things.

Perhaps its a ploy to get you to go and buy another game to play!

this has been going on for 2 weeks. GTA5 IS ALMOST UNPLAYABLE.

I've been getting Kicked out of the Server AFTER EVERY MATCH!!!! I reached out to Respawn but they put the blame on MS for not properly maintaining the servers...

I always start mid match. Team is either losing bad 67-211 OR we're winning 265-58. Either way, I'd be better off just spectating til the matcd is over, hoping to start a fresh round. But, NOPE. It Boots me to out completely!!!! Grr

 

Exactly as stated in the above two comments for me aswell. Getting frustrating

 

I have no issues playing TF... I live in California... rock solid... on occasion at the end of a game the server will lose connection, but never during a game...

I've been having the exact same issues since update 6 came out: -

1. At the start of a round, the UI freezes so I can't select a loadout. By the time it unfreezes, the game is in progress and I have to press the start button to be able to select a burn card.

2. At the end of a round, it displays "Waiting for players..." in the top-right corner of the screen and again, the UI freezes up for a few seconds.

3. Sometimes at the end of a match it pops up "Retrying connection", then I get disconnected from the server and it's like the match I just played never happened, in terms of challenges, burn cards used etc.

4. Sometimes at the end of a match or during the lobby countdown, I will get disconnected from the server.

5. Sometimes when I launch the game and connect to a server and it retrieves the matchmaking playlist, when it switches to the loading screen, the spinning loading icon just spins forever and I have to go back to the Home screen, quit out of the game and
launch it again.

6. Very rarely, everyone will get disconnected from the server mid-game, and I've also had the game just end mid-match and bring up the scoreboard as if it had completed as normal.

Issues 1 and 2 happen in every single game. The other issues happen occasionally. I had none of these issues before update 6 came out.

I tried a full reinstall of the game and all of the DLC today, but that made no difference whatsoever.

I also hate that they've reduced the countdown time between matches. You have no time to do anything now. It was much better when there was a 90 second countdown.

If I could roll back to update 5 I would, cos update 6 has really spoiled this game for me which is a shame as it's my favourite game on the Xbox One by far. I've posted about these issues several times on Respawn's forum, including reporting some issues
as bugs, but I'm yet to receive a reply from anyone at Respawn other than 1 developer who said I should reboot my Xbox. There's tons of people with these exact same issues.

 

I've not played for a few weeks because of TU6 issues , I tried to play Friday night and had to give up after 2 games , the issues still remain for me , so I can't see it ever gracing my console again.

 

Plays fine here... Pacific US...

 

I'm in the U.K. Western Europe servers , game constantly freezes up pre match , mid match and post match , just not funny .

 

Go back o Call of Duty then. I'm sure your connection speed is super slow. www.SpeedTest.net

 

I live in the UK and the menu is very laggy and issues connecting to the game at the start :/

 

Also, my connection is 8 meg down and 1 meg upload with a 22 ping and my issue has nothing to do with speed
