Almost all achievements dissapeared!

few weeks a go i signed into my account and my GS was at 0. I had finally reached over 100,000 after spending days and days grinding achievements, maxing all my favorite series like halo, tomb raider, assassins creed and various other games, a lot of which
were games friends had lent me so i earn more achievements. Ive been incredibly
[Mod Removed] off about it, the games are locked now, i cant re gain the achievements. it wont allow me to gain anymore achievements on games i have either. and a few days ago it suddenly came up that i have around 14,000 GS but when going through
them and looking on xbox app, smartglass and xbox.com its telling me i have around 7000 GS. also its given me achievements for games im no where near completing for example i started destiny not long ago and somehow i have all the achievements for it which
has completely ruined the game now! i really need help with this, its frustrating making so much progress and then it just disappearing and then messing me around. its almost like someone is trying to troll me aha but seriously i need help, i dont wanna lose
all that progress and i dont want to make a new account as certain games are saved on the gamertag like halo and gta! help please

if you unlock achievements offline and then do a account recover w/o signing in online, you will lose ALL achievement you gained during the recovery prior to signing in online

OP I've had a similar strange occurrence. A long time ago I beat RE's Desperate Escape, and unlocked multiple achievements for hat particular DLC. I recently went back after about year to earn some more achievements and saw that many of them were gone.
I know for a fact I beat it and earned the achievo, even though it said I hadn't. Not sure whether it was caused by me deleting it, deleting my Xbox's cache, or a simple update. All I know is it shouldn't really surprise us that much. Twice now I signed
into LFD after not playing it for months and immediately earned two achievements. Both of them are multiplayer achievements, which I never play. Good stuff right? So what ever happened with your DS2 problems? Seems like you've been having some crappy problems
with multiple games. Bummer.

 

Hey there, if the games are locked and you can't re-earn achievements it certainly sounds like your Gamerscore has been reset due to Gamerscore modding. Also looking at your profile, you've unlocked achievements in Destiny that have no date next to them
and Destiny is an online only game so all achievements should have a date next to them. It's pretty obvious some dodgy things have been going on with your account, I don't think anyone here is going to help you.

 

You would need to post here
forums.xbox.com/.../41.aspx for an official answer from the enforcement team but as Digital has said,it's obvious you have been reset for modding your Gamerscore & looking at your achievements you will be getting reset again or possibly even banned.

 

see its really unfair! i can assure you i havent attempted to modify my profile in any way, i've seen what happens to people who do and they either have their account banned or the GS reset and their player style set to cheater, mine hasnt been set to cheater
or anything, ive just lost my GS and since then its been playing up and causing me problems. ive actually had multiple problems with my account not registering actions or automatically doing things to my account without me doing so. ive had multiple problems
with payments, licensing on games ive purchased, messsaging and communication and even connecting to live services and having to re download my profile. since my GS has been playing up ive actually had problems with every game i load of which takes 10 minutes
to connect to the game and asks me to sign into an account when ever i load a game. thanks for looking at my post and commenting, thanks for the link badger!

 

I thought resets came with a suspension these days?

Have microsoft stopped caring again?, like they did with all the other modders.

 

they never did, but if you mod your score a second time then they perm ban you. the reset is their way of giving a user a 2nd chance.

 

They still get a 2 week suspension as well.

 

So where is this guys suspension?

They dropped the permanent ban for modding in games like call of duty down to two weeks, so surely they reduced the gamerscore modding down to less than that.

I hope they haven`t removed it altogether, but by the looks of it they have.
