No, there's no way to delete Halo 4, just don't touch it, plus you wouldn't like it anyway.

Still don't see how the Mako gets this bad reputation. What's so bad about it?

If you're talking about handling and traversing the uncharted worlds, just remember there's more than just one way to get to your destination. Trying to drive up a near completely vertical cliff? Yes, you're probably not going to have the best of time. There's
really only a few uncharted worlds that I can recall that are semi-difficult in traversing, but again you don't always have to go the most immediate and direct route, save the hassle and find an alternate path because they do exist.

If you're talking about combat capabilities I'm not really sure how it fails in this department given the variable firepower it offers with the 155mm main cannon and the coaxial-mounted machine gun that makes quick work of just about anything you encounter.
It's also a tank, unlike the tin can that is the Hammerhead, it can actually take more than a few hits before blowing up. Have a Geth Armature in your way? You can just act like it's a bowling pin and run it over with the Mako without taking hardly any damage.
You can also enter and exit the Mako at will, allowing you to gain that valuable extra experience points by killing an enemy on foot which are key when going for a level 60 character.

In my view, I think a lot of people's frustrations with the Mako stem from the environments it's utilized in more than anything. Fair enough but I just don't believe the Mako would be at fault for level design which in my opinion were spot on if I were to
imagine harsh uncharted planets.

 

I'm playing through the trilogy for the first time and just finished ME1 a couple of weeks ago.

One of the things I miss about ME1 that isn't in ME2 was the laborious and challenging alien terrains. I can't think of any other game I've played that offered anything similar. I had fun clearing all the minerals and "anomalies" from these planets. The
planet "scanning" in ME2 doesn't hold a candle to the challenge or sense of mystery that waited for me on each "planetfall"!

The MAKO itself? I didn't have any problems with it. Sure it was bulky to move around, but that thing could climb anything EXCEPT a 90-degree incline! After all, it was a tank, so maneuverability wasn't supposed to be one of it's strengths. And the firepower
it packed! I never worried about getting killed while "touring" all of the alien environments!

Overall, the MAKO gets a thumbs-up from me!

 

Never got the huge problem with the MAKO either, I thought it was fun. Whenever it did crazily handle and bounce suddenly I thought it was humourous. as in.....'ohhhhh that crazy Mako is at it again.'

 

I replayed all 3 games recently and I never thought the MAKO was an issue, it was just the bland level design of the wolds that you landed on.

 

Hahaha I always thought the same, so frustrating, now I just have the best fun with it, jump off mountains onto buildings, run the baddies over and jump up n down on them, find the highest mountain and jump out and enjoy the view and if you hold camera and
angles right you can traverse just about anything, pretty amazing really, enjoy.

 

I would much rather have a Mako than a Halo Warthog. You can get it almost anywhere.

And it was a much more fun way to find minerals rather than just scanning planets like in ME2

 

I love the Mako and most of the complaints about it could be solved if the folk just used the map screen.

You don't even need to mine all those minerals in the first game, unless they were directly in my path I never bothered after the first play through, you got enough cash and xp elsewhere. And what did those writings give you? A few points of war assets in
the third game. So not worth it unless you are an obsessive completionist.
