Allowing friends on MineCraft pocket edition

You can adjust the privacy settings on an Xbox console too if you have one, but the web site works too.

I have kids myself, and I manage their Xbox privacy settings. When I go to the aka.ms/accountsettings link and sign in as myself, I see my kids' accounts listed and I can adjust their settings.

The setting you want is under "Xbox One/Windows 10 Online Safety" and is called "Add Friends"

Now I'm being told to go to Xbox.com

Did that. Doesn't work. Im given the same error message. That they are not allowed to add friends and to go to aka.ms/accountsettings to adjust privacy. Did that and that's a black hole of no help at all. I've been at this for over an hour. This is ridiculous.

On either iOS or Android there is an Xbox app to manage your Xbox Live account. I recommend you install that app on each of your childrens' devices, have them log in to that app, and add Friends from there. All you need to add a friend is the GamerTag of
the other person. Once both people have added the other as friends, it will be very easy to pick your family members to play with in Minecraft.

This one reslly got me to the next step, but still I don‘t understand how to change the settings in a way that allows you to add friends, for example on minecraft pocket edition.
