Allow users to record gameplay and voice seamlessly with the Xbox One DVR

Users of the Xbox one system should be able to record their own voice irrespective of them being in a Xbox live party or not. Simply allowing people to record their gameplay and voice means recording gameplay is easy. Not only would this mean Xbox games
are promoted through people uploading gameplay on YouTube and Facebook but people won't record with their party applications. Overall allowing users to record their voices makes it easier for all users but also it makes it affordable. This feature should have
been on the Xbox day one

DVR isn't picking up audio input from my microphone

I'm using the windows 10 xbox DVR to record gameplay. While it records other output voices it does not record input voices on the dvr such as my own. Is this a bug or are you just not allowed to record your own voice. And yes my computer's able to
run the app and games perfectly fine.

 

Question for those who watch TV mostly through DVR (previously recorded)

That was kind of a bummer when I read that we can't view our DVR recording using Kinect, but you can pause, rewind, etc. live TV. Maybe sometime in the future there will be an update to allow users to view our DVR recordings and record programs by voice.
