Allow Multiplayer on Minecraft Java

Simply put. No. It is not currently possible to play local multiplayer Java to bedrock Minecraft. (assuming your not running the Minecraft PS4 Edition of Minecraft). Which would still be no. There are plugins for java that allow bedrock clients to connect to java servers but that feature is not on current consoles. Sorry for the inconvenience. Happy gaming!

I recommend signing in to https://account.xbox.com/settings, and making sure none of the multiplayer permissions are restricted.

1- Click on Xbox button on your controller and go to settings.

2- Select settings and then go to account.

3- Select subscriptions.

Here you will be able to check if your subscription is working just fine. If it says that the subscription is active then it means that there are no issues with it; However, if you find that your subscription is suspended or inactive you will need to update it, either from the console or the microsoft website online.

The next troubleshooting step will help you check and manage your account restrictions.

On which server are you trying to play?
