    Allow more controller range to play games from a farther range


    When you stream from your xbox to another device you would need to be in range to be able to play because of the controller. you could connect a controller to your phone and use some way of connecting that to you xbox with having extra range. Another way would be of getting a device where you can place it in the middle of your house and get extra range. This might make the latency of some games worse though.

    @UneasyJmitchell.... yah I remember that from the WaW days.... it started with the MP40 (damage drop from long range was farther than any other smg)

    I have had my xbox one replaced due to constant disconnects. The replacement is better when playing alone but as soon as there is a second player/controller it disconnects every 30secs to a minute. My console is in an closet about 10m from the TV and I
    sit in between the two. Never had these problems with my 360 or PS3. I think I may return it and go PS4 as this is a joke.

    MS needs to wake up and address the problem rather than pretending it's not there. Surely it can't be difficult to make a USB connected range extender or something?

    I have the same problem. I have my xbox one in the living room but I have a long hdmi extention from the living room to my room TV whenever I want to play games in my room. I mainly play COD in there but whenever I plug in the mic it cuts off (remote and
    mic) disconnects and my character goes crazy. I can not play with the mic connected because it will turn off the remote. What I did just now was that I used my PS4 USB cable and and plugged it into the xbox one cable so it could stay powered by a USB power
    source. I went and played a few games with the mic and it never shut off, I will do further testing tomorrow.
