Discus and support Allow game saves to be exported to USB drive. in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I was very disappointed I cant export my game saves on xbox one.     I was very disappointed I cant export my game saves on xbox one. If this doesn't change eventually, I will return it to the store.

    Any one encountered this problem with gears of war 3

    is your hard drive totally full?

    anything you delete from your profile you won`t get back.

    you could try moving your game save to a usb and then deleting all trace of the game from your hard drive,install the update and then reload your game save from the usb.

    gears 3 doesn`t allow you to just copy to a usb but you can move the save from your drive to the usb.

    Most save games allow you to copy them, so you can copy them to a USB storage device (that is configured for use on the 360)

    See this link for some information regarding using a usb flash drive on the 360:

    You can also use the cloud storage feature (Gold only) to save, save games in.

    Licenses are bound to a console not a HDD so you shouldnt need to transfer licenses

    Xbox consoles don't provide a direct way to back up save files to OneDrive or a USB drive. Xbox save files are automatically stored in the cloud when you're connected to Xbox Live. There isn't an official feature to manually export these saves to external storage or cloud services like OneDrive.

    You could always back it up to an external drive before the export, delete the exported 360 save after export, and then copy the original back and play as if you never did it.
