    Allow friends in Minecraft


    Someone please help! Im desperately trying to let my kids enter each others worlds on minecraft, one plays on ipad and one on an android tablet. Ive set up our microsoft account and added them both as family members but i can’t for the life of me find
    the setting to allow them to play together. Everytime we click on add friends in Minecraft it says it cant because of how the ms account is set up but ive gone into every setting i can find to fix this in both ms and xbox and having no luck. This is super
    frustrating! Please help, with screenshots would be fantastic if possible. Thanks.

    Allow friends in Minecraft

    Hi, first thing is to make sure that they are on the same WiFi. Second make sure multiplayer is turned on for both devices. (in the setting there should be an option to turn on LOCAL SERVERS) Then you will decide whose world you want to play in and load
    up that game on a device. That device will now be the host. Now to join, on the other device they must tap play and select the new world or whatever name it is. (highlighted in blue) It should appear at the top. Once you select the server you should now be
    in the world together.

    Also, in the settings in Minecraft itself, make sure to check who is allowed in your Multiplayer Games. Is it set to just Friends, or friends of friends?

    I joined a minecraft realm with my friend yesterday but then today when i tried to get back on today it said i needed game pass to join my friends on minecraft now. why is this the case?

    To change the Minecraft Realm privacy for everyone, follow these steps:

    Sign in to your Xbox account.
    Open the Xbox app and select “Minecraft.”
    Select “Settings” and then “Privacy and security.”
    Select “Change online privacy and security settings.”

    hello minecraft only allows you to join your friend's games to avoid people joining random people's worlds and destroying em, so no games will be on the list unless your friend has minecraft and is online in his/her world.
