    Allow editing of email, password, phone number, and recovery info directly on Xbox


    Right now, if we want to change our email address, password, phone number, or recovery options, we have to go to an external website like Microsoft.com. It would be much more convenient and secure if we could manage all of this directly from the Xbox console — especially for players who don’t have easy access to a PC or mobile device.

    Suggestions: – Add a “Manage Account Info” section in Xbox settings – Let users: • Change their primary email address • Update or reset their password • Add/remove phone numbers • Set or update alternate email addresses and recovery options – Include 2-step verification setup and security alerts – Require console sign-in or PIN for sensitive changes – Sync changes instantly with the Microsoft account system

    This would make Xbox more self-contained, user-friendly, and secure — especially for players who need to update their info quickly or recover access to their account

    Your account is verified and now you just need to reset your password (Verified Account Doesn't Exist)?

    The email I received after doing recovery was confirmed. It worked just fine; however, when it asks for my email so that I can reset the password it says it no longer exists. If I were to go and rest my password directly, It would recognize my email and asks for my password. I no not have access to my phone number or email no longer, so I had to recover the account.

    Thank you for your replies and assistance.

    I tried. I don't have that option because I can't verify the account because that's the into that's been changed.

    I get a pop-up asking me to verify my security prompts and since it's this other kids info... I'm still stuck waiting 30 days.

    I just don't understand how MS doesn't have a work around this. I know I'm not the only one.
