All Xbox games and apps don't work.

When using my Xbox I can see all of my friends online and still get notifications for them, when recording, clips fail at getting uploaded to Xbox live. When using games like Minecraft I can still see realms and servers which you can never see when your offline. But when trying to connect it always fails same for connecting to anything online on any other apps or games. It may be that Spotify was already loaded but I can play the entire album I already had up on the Spotify pop up but it doesn't show all of the album covers also when going into this app it says I'm offline. I'm connected to a wireless Wi-Fi (Wired is not an option) that is perfectly stable for all other devices in my house. I have tried signing in/out, restarting, doing a hard restart, unplugging and replugging the Xbox and router, reconnecting to WIFI, triple checking WIFI passwords and about every thing else I could find online. When in network settings running multiplayer tests and stuff it says not connected. I had this happen to me before around a year ago and accidentally resolved the issue but sadly don't remember what I did. I have delt with this issue for over 2w now and am getting annoyed.

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

If possible use a different network connection just to check if it's the Xbox console or the network connection. If the same issue occurs on a different network kindly clear the Alternate MAC Address on your Xbox then check if that will fix the issue.

Settings > General > Network Settings > Advanced Network Settings > Alternate MAC Address > Clear > Restart.

Are you able to detect your external hard drive on your console at all? If you can, then your next bet would probably be formatting this drive, to see if this helps with being able to detect it.

Alternatively, before you try this, there is an article that cover how to
troubleshoot external storage detection on your console that may have some tips to assist you with addressing this before you format this drive.

Keep in mind that if you are unable to get this to be detected via your console, you may need to connect it to a PC in order for you to be able to format this drive, and then proceed to use it on your console.

Thank you for reply, after resetting my console I realized every game and app stored on my harddrive won't work and i can't install games on my harddrive but the issue seems to be my harddrive, which is a Xbox harddrive. Not sure if you guys can still
help me or recommend who i can ask for help.

Unfortunately formatting the drive did not help, i i even tried the troubleshoot suggestions. The hard drive can be detected. Seems to affect me signing in and accessing other stuff like settings. My only work around is unplugging the harddrive and plugging
it back. Just to note, my xbox is fine, i tried using it without the harddrive connected but once i connect the harddrive thats when it'll act up. The hard drive shouldn't be damaged, it stays in one play and ive never dropped, also havnt had it for a year
yet.
