    All Xbox apps i use crash on load


    Recently pre purchased FH5 to play early and have been met with endless crashes ever since. I have attempted at LEAST 10-15 different websites fixes but i still CTD after the main menu.

    Secondly, ive tried installing the java minecraft launcher and cant even do that without being error coded either. This one comes directly from the xbox store app on windows 10.

    Lastly, i just downloaded halo infinite from steam. I installed it no problem and upon launching… i crashed. Again. Tried reinstalling it and nothing. No fixes that i could find online.

    This is only happening with my microsoft/xbox apps i have. I mostly play escape from tarkov and have absolutely no issues playing it. Other games like overwatch, GTA 5, etc. have no issues being played. Ive tried numerous fixes suggested by microsoft, playground games and still receive endless error codes. Ive even hard reset my pc and it still doesnt work. If anyone has any suggestions i would appreciate it greatly. Im beyond frustrated with the xbox app at this point

    Thanks, i will give it a try. As for error codes, i wouldnt get any for halo or forza unless i use event viewer and even then, the codes were vague and didnt explain anything. I got a direct code from the java installer but it seems like many people are having issues with it anyways

    Hi there Tyler welcome to the community forum! Christopher here, an Xbox fan just like you and has been on Xbox for years already. I would really love to make your day by helping you out. Do you receive any error messages while crashing? Also, I suggest uninstalling the app completely! Everytime that it tried to give me a hard time I do this and it works wonders! Here are the steps!

    Yes, as i said i have hard reset my pc and completely updated everything. Uninstalling the xbox app did not work either. Still crashing on the menu in halo infinite

    no unfortunately halo infinite and forza still result in a crash within a minute or two after launching
