    All Video Apps Broken Post-Update, Reinstall/CacheClear/DeletedApp -- nothings worked so far!


    After I installed the latest xbox 360 update HBO Go, Netflix, and Hulu are all not working - games are running fine. When I try to open any of those apps I get the game error message "The game couldn't start. Try downloading the game again. For more help...."
    no error code number included.

    I did the rb, lb, x software resintall, I cleared the system cache and I deleted the apps and reinstalled them and still no change.

    Any and all help or advice would be greatly appreciated!

    Nothing has worked so far

    I dont belive so tiro but i i dont understand why you would need to have a web accelerator? if you want to keep that web acceleration on i recommend you check in with hughesnet

  5. Hi, have you tried deleting and re-installing your profile as these issues, especially the game crashes can be profile related. If not, when selecting your profile for deletion, remember to select Profile Only. Then do the x3 Cache clear again, restart the
    console and redownload the profile. Let us know if this helped in anyway. You may also try a license transfer but this can only be done once per 6 months i believe.

    Been trying to delete/reinstall the profile but now whenever I turn on the system it tells me to install the new software, I click yes, it downloads and then freezes right after and i got error code 416b-0000-3080-0506-8b05-0018

    I tried to reboot and it just had me install the software again.... If I click no it does not allow me to do much as it won't sign in to live.

    Would I know if you tried reinstalling the app?

    UPDATE: They have since delivered an update and removed this problem as a known issue but it is still an issue. Nothing has changed and no work around fixes the problem. Just posting this so Microsoft knows the app is broken and there is no fix until they fix the app.
