    All USB ports have stopped working on Series X


    I've noticed that none of the USB ports are working on my Series X. I've tried hard resetting, a factory reset and just completely unplugging everything for a while, but none of it has worked so far.

    I see that there isn't actually an option to chat to someone to help fix hardware issues so I'm now stuck with an Xbox that I can't use my external hard drive or headset on, with no clue what to do!

    Anyone have any ideas?

    You cant use an usb headset on any console

    Its only ones that are labeled made for xbox or ps that are compatible with consoles and their specific ones

    I know that, I meant the USB dongle I have for my wireless headset. Everything was working fine and then all of a sudden the USB ports stopped working.

    The keyboard itself plugs into my controller and the usb, I have plugged into the usb port on the front of my xbox series x. When using the keyboard, the keyboard works but the mic stops working.

    Ensure that you are using the correct USB port on your Series X. Some consoles have multiple USB ports, but not all of them may support USB 3.0 speeds. Check your Series X's manual or support website to see which ports support USB 3.0 speeds.

    Try connecting the SSD enclosure to a different USB port on your Series X. If the first port you tried did not work, it is possible that there is an issue with that specific port. Try a different one to see if it recognizes the SSD enclosure as USB 3.0.

    Verify that the USB cable you are using is rated for USB 3.0 speeds. Some USB cables may not be rated for USB 3.0 speeds and can cause the device to not be recognized as USB 3.0. Ensure that the USB cable you are using is rated for USB 3.0 speeds and is in good condition.

    Only the Seagate Expansion and the WD Black C50 work for Series X|S games. All other SSD's can only be connected via the USB port and they are too slow for Series X|S games
