All the Problems with the New Xbox One Experience In a Neat Little Bow

So it has been no secret that the Windows 10 update was coming and I am sure many were anticipating its arrival. There's a lot to say for improvements and while it comes close to the blades of Xbox 360 in experience the update is pretty much like Windows
10 on PC - an unstable mess whether you have RTM or are on the Insider Fast Ring. Well, actually, the Insider Fast Ring is far more stable (except the most recent update which also shares the same NT version as Xbox One).

Much like Windows 10 you have now created a live/hate relationship with the NXOE. Let's start this nice little bug or just plain annoying list off:

• OneGuide Merged with TV - Good and bad. Good because it's very well integrated. Bad because it is very difficult to navigate (try it with a media remote). It also no longer possible for Live TV to start with the console as the console selected
  to boot to the dashboard yet this was not a problem with the older dashboards. More on this later. On a side note, I am really glad I created a TV shortcut so I can press a trigger and press A to get to the TV;
  
• Snap TV - Stuttery mess once you figure out you realize it is OneGuide you need to select. Here's a tip: while you are fixing that maybe put Live TV back into the snap list. Hey, at least you all finally got the other basic snap apps that
  used to take forever to load right!
• Running Games while on the Dashboard Results In Game not updating that mini-display - and no audio either. Seriously, while Halo 5 matchmaking is searching I usually do something on the dashboard but I can't do that anymore because that
  lovely massive new window for the running app or game doesn't behave like it did with the previous dashboard.
  
• Game/App Resume Misfires - This seems to have been fixed by the whole way the dashboard handles updating that massive display area (read: shows the game logo until you click it which pretty much wakes it up. This ties in with the
  OneGuide Merged with TV because Live TV behaves like this now rather than loading Live TV. This should be fixed.
  
• Seizure inducing name/gamertag switching on top left of the dashboard - Has anyone noticed how ridiculously fast that thing flickers over and over again with your name and them your gamertag. It should behave like it did where it flashed
  the name once and then stayed static with the gamertag. Or provide us options to control it because guess what? It's a nuisance. I am not going to forget my name so stop flashing it like the console is having an epileptic seizure.
  
• Console Running More than one game and one app simultaneously causing reduced performance - For some reason my console now decided it can run three to six apps simultaneously (without relaunch). I remember reading somewhere that exclusive
  apps (games) go into a type of sleep on the cores while while non-exclusive apps (non-games) were front and center on the screen and that after you open a third non-exclusive app the game is shutdown while the other non-exclusive apps went to sleep. This is
  such a great idea on paper but the console struggles until either I or it goes back and closes the "extra" apps.
  

Added Bonus:

• Blu-Rays Still Don't Show Thumbnails - Every BD player, the PS3, and I think the PS4 all do this. Considering this is a stripped down version of Windows 10 I would figure you all would implement it but hey, apparently that's never going
  to happen. I mean, that's like part of the experience while the popcorn is popping and everyone awaits in anticipation for the Blu-Ray to start. If a previous gen console can read a Blu-Ray and say "Furious 7" or "Pitch Perfect 2" (wow, that is so 180 in terms
  of movies) I would think the Xbox One with Windows 10 could.

For the record my console is a Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare 1TB Limited Edition (hey, Halo: MCC was coming out or otherwise I would have waited for the Halo console).

Still no access to preview forums for support been 4 days moderator are ya'll even out there.

 

I have expeirienced all of these with the new dashboard and also, a thing that says it can get my latest saved data and then i have to play 'offline' so... no more multiplayer for me ever ;/

 

I have experienced the stuttery mess. When snapping with tv on. I had to hard reboot This needs fixed.

I am glad I am not the only one with all of these issues, as bad as that might sounds because that means its a widespread problem and while I have seen each issue reported individually I have never seen them put altogether.

@CHUBBLES2013 - I have seen that issue from other users and wasn't sure whether it was an NXOE problem.

Have you tried any of the suggested steps with that problem because Xbox One games are supposed to use the latest available save which resides on your hard drive unless you move to a new console. It only syncs with the cloud to get the latest version if
its not on the console. Probably an NXOE issue all things considered.

It's a shame Xbox has no hub to report all of this like Windows Insiders Preview.

 

There's way more problems than the ones listed here...

- Screen dimming on TV/Netflix/etc - seems to be tied to kinect not staying on and when controller is inactive.

- Super slow boot ups (lots of 'took too long to start') on console and apps. Haven't been able to access avatar editor at all since new update.

- Gamerpics not displaying

- Achievements not notifying, and sometimes not even unlocking
