    I am extremely frustrated currently. I will try to explain my situation as in depth as possible, but I may miss some things.

    Purchased an xbox one nov27th on Dec 12th the WiFi completely died, took it back to best buy exchanged for a second (brand new) xbox one.

    Current xbox one cannot stream any video without constant buffering in every streaming app such as HBO and Netflix etc. The movies are literally unwatchable. 5 seconds of movie then 30 seconds of buffering.

    I have gone through EVERY step on Xbox One Streaming Help | Low Streaming Quality on Xbox Live for video streaming solutions.

    My xbox is LOS to my WiFi router 13ft away with FULL signal strength. All speed tests consistently are OVER 15MB down and 5MB up. I have tried all channels on my router; no positive changes.

    The xbox seems to DL apps and updates very quickly and would not indicate any connection issues My ISP is not blocking any services as far as netflix or hbo.

    For reference; I also have a hisense 55' smart TV directly above the xbox which streams all video flawlessly; a PS4 on the other side of our house which also works great.

    Issues with Comedy Central and FX Now

    Each week, my Comedy Central and FX Now app manages to lose my authentication information (the step where you log in with your cable provider, e-mail address, etc). Is there any way to make the apps actually retain this information? I don't have these
    issues with similar media apps like HBO Go, Netflix, or Amazon Prime, only ever these two.

    I made a post about this months ago, but never got a reply.

    Each week or two, my Comedy Central and FX Now apps manage to lose my authentication information (the step where you log in with your cable provider, e-mail address, etc). Is there any way to make the apps actually retain this information? I ever have
    these issues with similar media apps like HBO Go, Netflix, or Amazon Prime, only ever these two.

    It's the same with HBO GO, and I think SyFy. In order to watch such programming you still need to be a subscriber to HBO or SyFy from your cable or satellite provider. Same with Comedy Central.

    Is Microsoft aware that we cannot play xCloud over 5G on iOS due to overheating and device throttling?

    There’s at least a base level of code to make it function and receive inputs in real-time and return it all. If it’s just a stream, why does it turn mine and other people’s iPhones into toasters? 5G runs hot yeah, but it’s a constant download and upload of data whereas a stream on HBO or YouTube just buffers the video then stops transmitting data since it was all downloaded. Something is not right. Phones can handle that constant stream yet it’s not working right with xCloud.

    Android does not have this issue. I used to play on a OnePlus 8 without issue back when 5G was just emerging.

    I have the same issue and it buffers every 15 seconds so it makes it damn near impossible to watch a movie. Netflix and HBO GO never buffer for me, so not sure if this is Xbox issue or Starz issue. It is however annoying and since the iPhone app works
    great on the same network with no issues, I feel this has to be an xbox problem.

    I have the same problem. This has been going on for months. All my video streaming apps work fine such as netflix and huluplus. But when i want to watch a game trailer it buffers every 2 seconds. Really annoying.
