    All of you with Troubles - Game not loading, things not working..Answer is here..


    If you have been living in a closet or don't have access to google "XBOX live down" - Since the hack on Christmas day, there have been various issues including games not starting, not going into MP, profiles not loading and many of the personlization options
    are down. I do feel sorry for all you kids that got your X1 on Christmas day and were hosed by the "lizard squad" DDOS attacks. Everyone just chill out and all this will be fixed.

    Be thankful you don't have a PS4 - there network was and has been knocked completely offline. They are in worse shape...

    Your console is fine, but the network is messed up. The only thing that seems to work is waiting, so once your profile loads (wait 2-5 minutes), then select "multiplayer" (wait 2-5 minutes) and once in to game, the server selection works and you can play.
    But it does take 5-10 minutes to get in......

    The answer is: relax and when you go to college - become a IT professional to combat these jerks or become one and extort companies.

    My games don't work since Christmas

    Update:

    shortly after posting here my games started loading... I redownloaded my profile; not sure if that actually fixed it but thing appear to be working now. Only issue is that all of my games are needing to sync data with the cloud at startup.

    Error loading messages

    Anyone else having trouble loading messages on Xbox One App or on PC? i can't get mine working. Had to redownload Xbox 360 Smartglass just to message from my phone. Please help! it really is annoying not being able to use the Xbox One app. All it does is
    "act like its loading" with the thing spinning around.

    Waiting isn't my problem. When I go to multiplayer and XBox Live, I get this message: "you must have an active network connection to play xbox live or system link matches"

    I am connected to XBox Live because I can see all my friends online. My NAT is open.

    Curado Kev - you don't know what you're talking about. XBOX Live is not down - COD Sledgehammer is down. Unfortunately waiting is the only thing anybody can do, or...throw the game out, never buy COD again and be done.

    @Curado Kev, go away. Just go away. The forums don't need this nonsense from a newbie. There are a whole range of issues concerning MP right now. Some are dev related some are live related. It is not however down to you to dictate how people should react
    to said issues.

    My post was in relation to all the troubles from 12/25 - 12/28. It is not nonsense for people to have patience while that get the network back in working order. I'm sure there are many new owners of Xbox One that were freaking out, bottomline is to relax
    while they sort it out vs. taking their units back etc. I'm not dictating how anyone should react but if you are having troubles especially on COD, then you should know that there are many issues that are still messed up.

    Once your unit has been rebooted, check in Xbox settings under Network that there are no "Service warnings" assuming that you are connected to your network, then try launching your respective games. Titanfall and Destiny have been fine in last 2 days but
    COD continues to have intermittent issues including not being able to get on, the store does not work, the store does not recognize purchases that were made 1-2 weeks ago, the premium purchases for exo/camo do not go across all accounts in your family on the
    X1 etc.

    As you said there are a whole range of issues as we continue to wait out the developers...
