All of my games crash or lock up the system after only a few minutes

Big Xbox One problem.

Is this a common fault? My games don't do the dashboard crash, they just crash completely. Some games will just lock up, but I can still access the dashboard. However, any other game or app will not load after the first game has crashed. The only way to
get around this problem is to hold my finger on the power light until the machine goes off and then try again. Sometimes I can play for 30 minutes, sometimes only 5 minutes.

Some games will totally crash the system, with the sound going in a continuous loop. If this happens all I can do is turn the console off, I have no dashboard access.

It's not a heat issue as the console is in a well ventilated space and is not hot to the touch.

I have about 5 games, some on disc some as downloads. The system crashes on all of them. Is a factory reset worth it or is my console faulty? I'll do the rapid exchange if it is.

This will be my third Xbox One. The first one stopped booting up after only 2 months!

Xbox 360 Crashes Using HDMI

When I use a HDMI cable in my Xbox 360, it automatically crashes ans constantly restarts. My xbox works fine with just the regular component cable but as soon as I plug in the HDMI cable it crashes again. Some times it will last about 5 or so minutes, allowing
me to start playing a game, and after a few minutes of game play, the system crashes. How can I fix this?

 

Xbox One restarting by itself

Same issue here, and it just started over the last week or so. I play D3 UEE for a couple of hours, then switch to TV, and within a few minutes the video locks up as the sound stutters. After another minute or so, the Xbox One reboots, and all is well.

 

Quick update. Last night I did a factory reset and installed RYSE again. I played it for an hour without crashing, then went to bed. I'll try some more games tonight see how it goes.

 

I would suggest a factory reset as well as this will help the console configure the update properly yeah you will have to download and install things again but it will beat having the console crash on you all the time

 

I'm hoping my problem has been corrected with the factory reset. I've played a full game of FIFA 14 without any problems and RSYSE was working fine again too.
