All of my game clips have vanished?

I have the same problem. Upload studio won't upload any clips, even if I don't select Onedrive, and Upload itself won't allow me to save any clips either, so all my best stuff is going to vanish because I can't save any of it :/

My clips can record anywhere from 8-20 seconds. Never a full 30 seconds and it seems my options to record clips for 1,2,3 minutes etc. have vanished. I've tried to walkthrough to increase the time of clips but can no longer get those options to pop up.

I have had multiple game clips deleted or vanished from my xbox local drive as well as on xbox live without me deleting or doing anything. It seems some clips stay forever and a lot eventually go away. Is this supposed to happen and is there any
way I can retrieve those clips or are they gone forever?

You were lucky if you recovered everything! I had stuff vanish from online a while back and more recently right off my console clips were vanishing. I did some testing when my clips started to vanish off my internal XBOX storage as well as from my attached external drive. What I found was that when I moved the external drive to my PC I could see the clips, access, and backup to PC ETC. Unfortunately there was no was to access the console hard drive from another device so those clips were never accessible again. The test supported my conclusion that there is something very wrong with the consoles ability to reliably find content recorded directly too it. A by product of this is that I now have internal console storage space being wasted storing clips that the XBOX cannot find. In fact if I didn't do the test and forgot about the clips I'd never know my internal drive was slowly getting bloated with clips the console was storing but unable to retrieve. Not even a thumbnail or file name to alert me. It simply doesn't pull up the clips any longer in the captures stored on the internal console drive regardless of how I filter my search. It seems to be working fine for new captures but there are these time periods where it just has no ability to display what's stored any longer. I'll do a complete XBOX reset/wipe sometime but I shouldn't have to do that. That's like using a nuke when what we really need is better tools on the console for managing our content. I think they are instead reducing tools and resources for clip/pic captures. I hear they are going to start deleting any content on your online XBOX profile that's older than 90 days. So if you a part of any XBOX groups or have shared images and clips within an XBOX CLUB/GRP it's going to get wiped. I suppose the content will be more current and relevant on their online XBOX services after this so that could be a good result, but they are not doing it to make the service better its to save money by removing services they think we won't miss. They should get some more messages out about this 90 day content wipe policy, so players can back up clips and pics before they begin summarily deleting all pics and clips from all gamers online accounts. At the end of the day the games pretty much work and that's the most important thing. I just wish that they were not taking away the ability to keep a persistent library of clips and pics uploaded to our profiles for other players to visit.
