All my Xbox game captures on external device are ALL damaged.

I don't like to give bad news, but if your PC doesn't recognize the captures as well
Unfortunately the videos are corrupted :c

You can try using some of those recovering / repairing files tools to see if maybe that helps.

Hi,

The Storage Epansion card from Seagate is for Xbox game installs/downloads. It can't be used to record gameplay, which is why your Google searches were unsuccessful.

All you need to capture externally is an inexpensive USB 3.0 storage device. A suitable flash drive can do it.

Based on the description, you are having issues synching your game clips captures across your devices. Let us see how we can help.

We would like to ask few questions to help us isolate the issue further.

1. Where did you save your captured game clips? Captures recorded to an external drive can’t be uploaded to the Xbox network from your console.
   
2. When did the issue start?
   
3. Is this happening to all captured game clips?
   

It is possible that your captured game clips are stored locally and not uploaded in OneDrive, To make your game clips synched to all devices, you must upload it to OneDrive and access it through OneDrive. You can have the option to store your captured game clips locally in your PC or using external drive from your Xbox console.

To manage where you store your captures on your Xbox console, you will need to launch the Captures app. To do this, press the Xbox button and go to My games & apps > See all > Apps > Captures.

From here you can select the Manage option which will allow you to see all your captures. When you select one or more captures, the available options may change based on the types of content. You can initiate the following bulk actions to multiple captures at the same time:

• Delete will remove the selected captures from your console and the Xbox network
  
• Upload to OneDrive will add the selected captures to your OneDrive account but will not delete them from the console or Xbox network
  
• Copy to external drive will copy the selected captures to the desired external drive but will not delete them from your console or Xbox network.

To be able to record party chat audio you will need an Elgato or anything external capture card as that will capture any audio on your Xbox (Party, Game, All audio)

You can save to an external device but unless you have a game capture device you're limited to the xbox standard game capture times.

The only other option would be to stream on mixer and download the clip from your mixer account.
