All my Xbox controllers are not working

check for a controller update, this is separate from a system update which I recommend checking for as well.

What type of problem are you having with your controller?

MY CONTROLLER WON’T CONNECT TO MY CONSOLE OR PC -> it doesn't apply. the controller does connect to my pc

I CAN’T UPDATE MY CONTROLLER -> it doesn't apply. Xbox Accessories says it is up to date

MY CONTROLLER DOESN’T FUNCTION CORRECTLY -> somehow it doesn't. let's take this option

MY CONTROLLER WON’T POWER ON -> it doesn't apply. the controller does power on

SOME OR ALL OF THE BUTTONS ON MY CONTROLLER DON’T WORK AT ALL -> it doesn't apply. All buttons do work correctly

I have had the same issue. Plugged in a PS3 controller supported by SCP software which worked fine. Tried again with my xbox 360 controller and no luck. Wouldn't respond to any input at all with Xbox controller. The strange thing is the scp software emulates an Xbox controller so all my prompts when playing with the PS3 controller are Xbox key prompts. Not sure if that's an option for you but I still haven't found a way to get my Xbox controller working with nier.

My controllers work fine on my old Xbox 500GB. The elite console is the culprit. All my controllers have the latest firmware and plugging them in works, but they will not work wirelessly until I reboot the console or power cycle it.
