All my Saved games are gone

Normally, I would of looked at this problem and thought maybe it was a glitch... but something doesn't add up. Basically, I looked on my 360 the other day to find that all my saved game progress on all my 360 games are gone. This isn't the strange bit. When
I go to my storage to see what's happened, I see that all my downloaded content is still there but no saved game. This is the same for every game I have on my hard drive. Strangly though, on some games there is still a saved game, but it is from my mates account
that is also on the hard drive, but all saved games on MY account are gone. I did just before New Years take my Hard Drive to my mates house and put it into his console... but i've done this many times before and never had a problem like this... It's fustrating
because all the progress i've made over the years are just gone... If anyone can find a solution to this I would be much appreciated.. thank you

My saved games are gone !

Hi

As long as your console is online the Xbox One game saves will also be held on the Microsoft servers and should be downloaded to the console again the next time you play the game.

I recently changed my Xbox One and the new console downloaded the game saves again when I start playing the games.

Assasin'creed crashes often the console.

After the last crash, my backups are gone.

I did what Xbox Support (Twitter) told me to do but as it doesn't solve anything, I was told to come here.

A solution ? It is unthinkable for me to start the game again !!

I imagine my backups are somewhere on one of your servers

Sorry to hear it. Unfortunately there is nothing anyone can do to get the game saves back if they are lost.

However, the console will not arbitrarily delete game saves on it's own. If something like that were to happen everything would be missing as that would be a sign that the hard drive is dying.

I would recommend speaking with your friends to see if someone hasn't pranked you by removing/deleting the data.

Thanks man, I don't think they did because I was there with them all the time, and I only put it in for about an hour, playing with them the whole way through, so I don't think they would of had the time to do that... I'm just really puzzled because on somes
games I can see that there is a saved game, but its a saved game on one of my mates account on my hard drive... yet all saved games on my account are gone, it's like someones gone on to my account and got rid of all my saved games specifically... and all my
saved downloadable content is still there... i'm just so puzzled

That's what I'm thinking as well. The biggest thing here is that your saves are gone but your friends saves are still on the system. To me, that suggests a little bit of tampering and something that can only be done locally which means someone who has
had access to not only your account but your hard drive as well.

But even then, why only my saved games? Surely they would of deleted everything on my hard drive, not just that specific thing... I've got a glimmer of hope that it was moved to somewhere... Maybe on my mates console... I'll have to have a look when i'm
there next... but it's just so strange

In my view I know losing your saved history is quite bad countless hour's of playing saving up achievements just to be vanshined. However on the brighter side you could play all those game's again to gain back gamerscore and you'll have more hour's of fun
(if your ever bored just sitting playing online)

Hey, thank you for your answer. I am the only one who's using the Xbox, my girlfriend never uses it. I haven't posted it on the Forza forums because all my save games from all my games I've played are gone. So it probably is an issue with my Xbox or the
hard disk.

I have the same problem, I just spoke with Microsoft representative and he admitted that the data are gone. He wrote this: "If your Internal Hard Drive and not your External Hard Drive that's installed inside the console has the issue, it means that we can't
do anything to recover your saved games. But since your games is still on your account you can download it again on the console and play the game again. And I strongly suggest that you use a Standard Microsoft Hard drive for the storage for your games, saved
games and any other items. I do apologize for the inconvenience, I have tried to do my best and to pull all the options in my end. But you will need to play the games again, we can't recover the saved games for you. If we can do it, we already done it on your
first contact to us."
