All my games won't Play even though I own them physically and they are installed properly

Hello. I own a bunch of games on disc that simply will not play even though they are installed and they show in the online store that they are owned and installed. I have tried to circumvent this issue by buying them online as well but that takes hours
and hasn't seem to fix any issues. I would like a refund for the games i had to re-re-buy. And i would like to discuss a refund on my console as well. The only thing i use it for is to play games and i can no longer play games without them uninstalling themselves
and Microsoft's bots telling me to factory reset my console except my games (which takes hours as well.) It's a lose lose. I want my Money back.

I would also try to factory reset but wipe everything including the games, its a pain that you'll have to install them again but it might fix it, or before wiping everything try doing an offline update incase the last update you had went wonky.

other than that I cant think of another reason it wont play your disk games

To request a refund for your games, you will have to go here
xbox.com/refund. As for the refund for the console. You will have to contact the retailer you got it from, and see what they can do.

I can't delete anything!I keep all sorts of stuff on my 250GB drive. DLC for games I don't even own anymore. Just in case I get them again.

My biggest gaming irrationality, though, is being too scared to play a game unless it's installed to the hard drive. I'm working on it though, I am starting to play games for half an hour even if they are not installed. I'm scared my xbox will break if I
don't install them

If you do it that way, the Xbox that gets the physical disc install would need to have it's own Xbox Live account and Gold membership. The latter is needed to enable online multiplayer.

Keep in mind that as you have already seen, you won't be able to add a particular game title digital purchase to an account that already has the physical disc installed since that account already owns the content. One could add a Game Pass subscription though
and any games included in the Game Pass that you have physical discs for can then also be played without the disc installed (eg for me that is Halo 5 Guardians).

Unfortunately with 3 consoles, if you want to be able to use them all at the same time then you will need at least two Xbox Live Gold subscriptions and applicable games.
