All my game clips, upload game clips, and my Showcase all gone!!! :( :( :(

Spent over a year making game clips on my Xbox one. Just checked this morning... and it said they are all gone even my saved game clips (*Even the ones uploaded to the cloud). When I try to look at my game clips in upload....all I get is a spinning circle.

Is this all going to happen to all of us after years of saving game clips???

This really upsets me...I have been with Xbox live for 12 years... first time something like this has ever happened to me.

Where is my showcase that I worked hours and hours on????.......... also my over 130 game clips.....my new screenshots.....GoNe!

10 Hours a ago a friend from the UK liked one of my gameclips on my activity fee.... I clicked on that like... and it say's game clip unavailable.

Talked to MS Xbox support chat....and they told me they can do nothing, The Xbox support told me to post here.

I love my XBOX... have been a loyal fan since begining of time......but this has really hurt me.

This needs attention ASAP... please.

Xbox deleted my important saved clip

Tried using upload. It was unable to upload it to my showcase so I left the upload screen. When I went to my clips it was gone. Upload somehow deleted after I saved it. It was the criminal mastermind challenge on gta5. I need that clip back

IVe change nothing, ive uploaded clips before or viewed old clips, suddenly those options are gone???

 

On one of my game clips that I clicked on my activity feed... I got this message " Try a different game clip that one was deleted or never published. (0x80040212)

I left it on that screen.... then 10 mins later the video started playing under that warning message.

What is going on?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

It say's not there yet still plays????

I thought it might be fixed so I checked it again.. and still got the warning message.

 

Ok....so please delete this thread.... looks like all of a sudden my game clips have come back.

If anybody from MS was trying to help me... or did help me... thank you very much.

I guess it had something to do with the cloud.... still confused.. but happy now.

My clips are fine but i can't view my showcase it also won't allow me to delete or add clips.

 

I would suggest waiting, 1 hour or 2 hours. When I was looking to see what was wrong with my issue, I even went to Xbox Live Support Status page and there was no problems listed.

I think MS might be doing Xbox Live server updates some mornings.... only a guess. If they are doing server updates some mornings, they should inform the consumer, how it will effect gameclips or their showcase.

I hope at least my experience can help out somebody else if they ever go through what I went through that one day.

All I can suggest is waiting a few hours to see if it comes back before calling customer support.

 

lol i waited more than a couple hours, i even contacted xbox help line and they also seemed confused about the situation.

 

I saw someone else posted that they couldn't see their showcase items and that they were unable to add or delete anything from it. I too am having this same issue. I have talked to tech support on this issue three times now with no success. I have tried
everything possible to fix this issue, including downloading all updates to a flash drive and trying to reinstall them. I hope this issue is fixed soon!!

 

I am having the same issue!

 

Just wait a couple of hours and see if it comes back. I am guessing it is some sort of cloud server maintenance. It's happened to me 3 times in about a 6 months period. If it is some sort of maintenance, I wish we would get some sort of service alert under
support so at least we would know.

 

My showcase clip which was saved and named disappeared about a couple months ago. Where is it? I still have older clips that aren't even saved that are still there. Why? This clip was awesome and I'll never be able to recreate
