All kinds of problems since last update.

First off, I've been a member of the preview program for a few months now, so I'd be posting this there if I had access to those forums, but I just get the "Group not found" thing for some reason. This last update has made Xbox Live entirely useless to me.
The only thing I get out of it is seeing which of my friends are online. The "Featured" spots and ads are just empty. I can't use any app or game that needs Live. What's worse is that I can't even report it. When I try, it just says "This app is only available
to preview members". And like I said, cut off from the forums also. I've tried power cycling, no dice. What do I do? Wait for the next update? Restore factory defaults?

May 19, 2011 Update Question

That's funny. Since the last update my console has had all kinds of problems reading disc's. I never received an e-mail!

If you haven't already, try turning the console from the guide and unplugging the power cord from the back for 5 minutes

Haha no problem. Are you connecting wirelessly? The update before the most recent had some issues with wireless. If you have an external drive, turn the console off and unplug it. Turn it back on and see if it's any better. Also, go to settings, system,
console info and updates and see if there's an update available.

If you're wireless, try connecting with a wired connection if possible

 

I just updated yesterday, and all of that's a no go. I guess I'll just try and wait it out.
