Monitor with Multiple Devices connected.

Hey guys, running into an issue connecting my Xbox 360 console to my Acer H243H Monitor via HDMI (Sound via Adapter).

The issue I'm having is when I have my PC and Xbox both connected to my monitor at the same time (PC via DVI). My Xbox sound will play, but I receive no video signal. When I disconnect my PC, the Xbox video shows up. My knowledge of video sourcing is very
limited, and I'm at wit's end trying to figure this out. Countless Youtube videos and support forums have lead me nowhere.

Is there a way I can have my PC and Xbox connected to my monitor, while still using my audio adapter? (I get both audio and video through monitor still with HDMI, but it seems to clash somewhere amidst the HDMI, DVI, and Audio Adapter. Any suggestions are
greatly appreciated!

Xbox One game audio to headphones

Hi. My PC, 360 and X1 all go into a Sony HT-FS3 via HDMI which produces the sound and passes the video feed via HDMI to my monitor. There is no headphone jack on the HT-FS3 or audio out other than via HDMI. To get my 360 to my headphones I used an audio
adapter cable as well as an HDMI cable but there's no port for that on the X1. Thanks.

Connecting an Xbox to either a PC or PC monitor
I was wondering if its possible to connect my xbox 360 to my pc via USB and then use that to display though the PC's monitor and/or use the sound drivers to use the pc's speakers
No.
If that's not possible can u use
a USB to link the xbox to my monitor
No.
My monitor doesn't have an HDMI connection
There are HDMI to DVI cables. There are digital audio to analog audio adapters. There are also VGA cables for 360s that have an AV port (the 360 E does
not).

Question about Computer Speakers

Not exactly they will not work with the Xbox One via the main USB connection used to communicate with the PC. Xbox One isn't a Windows PC so that drivers that enable it to work with a PC or Laptop don't exist for the Xbox One.

They might be able to be made to work if your PC monitor has these things. A HDMI jack and either a 3.5mm stereo audio out or RCA Red and White stereo audio out. If it does then the monitor could decode stereo audio from the HDMI output from the Xbox One
and then you would need a 3.5mm Male to Male stereo cable or a RCA Red and White Male to 3.5mm Male cable to plug the monitor output into the stereo input for auxiliary audio devices on the control pod.

help connecting xbox 360 to monitor

As mentioned, just connect the 360 to the monitor via HDMI and then plug your headphones into the headphone output on the back of the monitor. Fortunately that monitor handles audio and has volume control, so you should be all set.
