If the games I get with Game Pass are unplayable until I get game pass again or purchases the game why are some games on Game pass unable to be purchased through Microsoft on PC. All I want to do is play Far cry 5 with an Xbox linked account so I can play Co-op with my brother. or is there already a fix for this? I've read the forums and from what I can see I cant play far cry 5 with my brother if i just buy it through Ubisoft it needs to be linked to a service so; is this true? is there an update? how can I do this so I'm not paying monthly for one game?

To play games like that you would need to buy them from their publisher, Xbox Game Pass offers an extensive amount of games that you can play anywhere. But it is not all games. It's mostly your Xbox studio games and games that have contacts with Microsoft.
