All games stopworking upon signing in

Hello, my Xbox one is not functioning properly.

All games have ceased to work and will only work so long as no profile is signed in. Once a profile is signed in, the game stops working and freezes.

Turning the console off an on does not work.

Switching profiles does not work.

Rebooting the console does not work.

Switching to offline mode does not work.

All other apps and functionalities work.

All games including games on disk, games by subscription, and purchased downloaded games do not work.

This started at the beginning of yesterday.

Disconnected Upon Signing In

since i did the upgrade I have had nothing but issues all the test i run are fine...but keeps dropping me from xbox live..no error codes nothing i'm using a wired connection (was wireless but will not connect anymore that way since i did the update) It disconnects
on the lobby and in games..I have laptops that work had my internet provider on the phone for over an hour and there is no issue with my service at all. I contacted xbox customer service and was told that it is a known issue and they are trying to resolve
it as soon as possible. I'm just pissed cuz i just renewed my gold membership the day before this started (October 29th) I mean I play daily and within 3 hours the problem started. AHHHHH

Connecting directly through the modem works, and stays connected. I don't think it's a problem with the ISP.

I'd rather avoid calling Cox support if I can, and Xbox Live support, and the DMV, and the dentist...

Make sure you have downloaded the latest updates for the console. Try holding down the power button for 10 secs and try again. If it does not work, delete the profile from the console and re-download it again.

 

I have already tried rebooting it by holding the power button for ten seconds. I've done that multiple times actually. I checked for updates and the last one was in February and we have it. I don't know if deleting my profile would work as the games also
don't work with other profiles, but I will try it. Recently, it seems the Xbox One has also become slower and I am wondering if I should start deleting games off it. Perhaps it has not enough memory.

 

The Xbox One has now stopped allowing me to access my games entirely, and apps as well. When I go to the Games and Apps tab from the menu, everything is perpetually loading. The settings menus have also begun to freeze up while going through them. I can
no longer access the console's memory storage.

 

I rebooted the console again, and then began rapidly deleting anything my family wasn't planning on playing in the next two months. My family has a habit of downloading anything we eventually want to play or try or are vaguely interested in. It seems we
had bogged down the system's memory and now that we have freed up half of the storage space, everything seems to be working now.

Never mind, it's back and I don't know what to do anymore.

For game crashes and freezes be sure to follow all of the steps on the
Games won't start guide.

If none of the steps work be sure to
factory reset the console and then try to launch a game once more.

post back and let us know how that goes.

If the reset does not work either a repair may be required and we recommend reaching out to the
