    All games on external hard drive won’t load


    All games on my external hard drive will not load. I will click on one and it will show the loading screen then it will say the game took to long to load. Any game downloaded onto the xbox will work, just not the games on the hard drive. Is there any way
    to fix this? Thanks.

    before reformatting your drive restart your machine and make sure all updates are there

    Unfortunately you may have to reformat the drive. You would be forced to redownload all games on the external. Before you do that try a hard reset of the console.

    Try doing a full shutdown on the xbox, if that doesn't work you might have to follow Shaneblack82 advice.

    I have tried loading games both on the internal hard drive and external.

    I've disconnected my hard drive and tried to load games that are stored internally and this hasn't fixed it.
