All games crashing to home

Literally every game on my xbox is crashing to home. From minecraft to diablo, everything crashes to home menu when it try to load it. Even my physical game disc copies of diablo eso and dying light crash to home.

I have tried power cycling. Didnt help.

I have tried shutting the system down for 30+ seconds. Didnt help.

I unplugged the system for 1min or longer. Didnt help.

I have uninstalled all three physical games, reinstalled them. Didnt help.

I cant reinstall the downloaded games since xbox is being stupid, as usual.

With even my single play disc based games not even working, i am beginning to wonder if owning an xbox is worth it.

Games(disc copies) not starting up after Installed

Also having the same problem with disc and digitall games crashing back home instantly ive tried all the above suggestions still doesnt work

Couldn't play any of my games today after preview update

Seems to have done the trick. My games including Forza 5 all load and allow me to play without any freezing/crashing to the home screen. Thanks Microsoft team.

For most of my digital games i seem to be getting the error code 0x87dd0003 and for my phisical copies, they try to start then crash to home with no error code to help. Is this due to the service alert or is xbox just completely off its rocker.

Hello

The 0x87dd0003 error code indicates network errors, judging from the time you posted this, this was when the servers were having issues signing in and connecting to live.

Are you still experiencing issues starting your games ?

I have the same problem:

DR3 - either crashes to home screen, or gets stuck at "Loading"

AC4 - either crashes to home screen, or gets stuck loading the save game

KI- crashes to home

COD- Goes into a loop going back to the splash screen after showing the menu for a second or two

These are all digital download games. I'm on my 2nd replacement xbox and support hasn't been able to help me at all.

I'm having issues with crashing as well. Usually it happens at the end of a workout when instead of loading the progress/summary screen, it crashes to home page. This morning it crashed to home page mid workout. Lost all progress towards achievements as
well as stamps.

Same issue with my kids. They can't spawn any vehicles. It used to happen with just a few select cars like the apc, but now, none of the vehicles spawn at all. The game still crashes to the home screen on every instance. I wasted my time with a hard reset
and uninstalling the game. After reinstalling, it still crashed to the home screen.
