All games crashing on initial startup

I got gamepass for pc finally. I primarily use it to play things away from my home while at work 4 days a week. To that end I use 2 sources. A pc which is a ryzen based with a 1060 and a laptop that is intel based with a 3070ti. All games im playing are 100% max requirements met for either pc. Primarily this has been plague tale requiem and maneater so far.

I have installed sea of thieves as well which is prompting this question.

When attempting to start any game. They have the initializing window before they go full screen. it is from this point they are crashing. maneater is usually 2 to 4 times before finally starting, plague tale 1 or 2.

Sea of thieves however, will not play at all. it crashes every time. I followed both guides to fix this issue from the gamepass xbox app and specifically guides on how to make sea of thieves function. nothing works. This is clearly a gamepass issue and now a pc issue as it's over multiple pc's including my home PC which is capable of playing games from the 33rd and a half century. Has anyone found this issue and solved it?

Hello Keith_650, have you checked if you have the latest version of Windows installed, at 22H2.

See which version of Windows 10 you have

Updates are often seen as optional.

Also, make sure all Xbox Apps are up to date in the store, and make sure you have the Xbox Companion App installed, it works with the Xbox App.

And yes, I can install WoT or any other game without any problem. Installed tons of game.

Only WoT makes trouble. I can initiate start WoT, but it crashes all the time after startup, console switch off.

Trying to launch Metro Exodus on my PC it crashes during startup while showing the initial trademark. Trying to launch it again gives the option to launch in safe mode. Selecting safe mode, the game does launch although the camera is very slow to the mouse
movement and it is unplayable.

Any ideas on why it crashes on launch?

I have the same issue... Please anyone help us

Hi Sneak, It could be a number of things that's causing the games to freeze up all the time and since you've tried most of what I would of asked you to do without any joy I'd say your console is faulty and needs to be sent in for repair.
