    I am having the same problem, one second they are all online then they are all appearing offline; even with hard resets. Some friends will reappear but a significant amount stay offline and I cant play with anyone.

    All of then cant possibly have changed their privacy settings. My son who is downstairs online even shows 'offline'...

    One reason might be that they’re appearing offline. So if you know any of them personally and know that they’re online, ask them to check their privacy settings
