All friends appearing offline

So, I was playing a game of multiplayer in destiny. I was in a party with 4 people. All of a sudden, my teammate's chat icon appeared in game, meaning his voice data was going through in game. I left the party to join the game chat, and then it said that
he was muted/had no microphone. He was also appearing offline, and suddenly only 5 friends of mine were online, down from 20 or so. I invited my teammate to a new party, and he joined the party, even though he was offline. we could not hear each other. I
turned off my Xbox, and reset the internet. When I powered back up, ALL my friends appeared "Offline". I checked the Windows 10 xbox app, everyone is "Offline". I then logged into xbox.com through a browser, and again, everyone is "Offline". There's no service
alert atm, but it seems to be a problem with xbox. I am getting 89 mbs right now, with a 1 ms ping.

Everyone is appearing offline. Any ideas? Xbox live appears to be working.

 

Same, must be a server problem

 

Both of my xbox ones consoles are having this issue.

Was in a party with friends and suddenly couldn't hear them and they couldn't hear me. When I went to check out see if they had left the part or having connection issues. Everyone was offline.

 

Also having this issue. I did a reset (unplugged the console for 5 minutes) and that still did not fix the issue.

Thank god its not my Xbox dieing lol! Same here just started 30 min ago and is all random, got a party inv I couldn't join out of nowhere... hope it cones back up

I have the same issue, i was in a party with friends and all of a sudden they left and I check my friends list and everyone was offline

 

my xbox just told me that some was online but my friends list is still say that everyones offline

 

Yup, same issue here. Now can't get any Store access or multiplayer either.

 

It is also not letting messages or notifications go through from what I see.

 

Sorry to here about you all having this issue. Xbox Live Service Status is currently reporting that "Social and Gaming" is limited. So, that may be why you are unable to connect to party's, games, etc.. This may be the reason why you can currently not see
your friends online. Hopefully the issue is resolved soon! Xbox Service Status:

Service status page has just been updated, so hopefully be fixed soon.
