All downloads fail on XBOX One. Master Chief bundle and market purchased apps.

I have been trying to install the Master Chief collection for a week and it stops at 1% and pops "Installation Stopped" for all the parts. I bought two games through the market and they do the same thing. I have spent a lot of money to look at progress bars
that ends with error 0x87e0000f.

Hi, the version of odst you purchased, was it the xbox one version for Halo the Master chief collection or the Xbox 360 version of the game? If it was the Master Chief collection version, then you need the master chief Collection installed on your Xbox
One to be able to download the game.

 

Is thier gonna be a xbox one masterchief collection bundle?

I previously looked up the error code and have tried restarting the downloads every night for the past week. I have also tried cancelling the downloads and restarting them.

I appreciate the help but that is exactly what I have been doing. All the downloads are sitting at 1%. I'm ready to just return the One to the store and try to get a refund for the app store games.

 

another tip to try that iv found works is to disconnect the xbox from the internet and install the disc then when you reconnect youll have an update to install but should all work smother (and quicker)

 

Could you give what Tat1664 suggests? As games sometimes try to download updates at the same time of installation and that can give issues

 

This forum appears to be a black hole. I can see the replies in my e-mail but they do not appear on this page for some reason.

I cannot try installing offline since I don't actually have any XBONE disks. The Master Chief was supplied as a redeemable code. When it failed multiple times I tried some free to play games (Killer Instinct). Every one of them show the "Installation Stopped"
message at 1%.

Restarting the downloads does not help. Waiting has not helped. Going offline hoping that it was downloaded but not installed didn't work.

I did just try PoolNationFX (Free w/Gold) and it is currently at 10%. I bought PowerStar Golf weeks ago and it installed fine before these problems.

 

Does it finish downloading but just fail the install ?

If that's the case you can still disconnect your Xbox One from the internet and put it in "Offline mode" (can be accessed from the network tab) if you then uninstall the game (the installation files will still be present) you can reinstall and updates etc...
should not interfere with the installation process that way

 

OK folks, based on some of the suggestions I finally deleted all the downloaded files for Master Chief (just learned how to do that). I switched to a hardwired connection just to eliminate wireless and restarted it from the Store. It is currently at 70%
and I was able to start it up and play a CE campaign.

Thanks for the help and suggestions. I'm just concerned that I didn't actually fix the problem. I'm keeping the hardwired connection so maybe that will help. My wireless router is more than 10 years old now.

FearedNightmare, it appears that they did download but failed to install. Putting it in offline mode still showed the message 'Installation Stopped' after your last suggestion.
