All DLC as Unlocks?

Hello. I want to say that I really like Gears of War 3 so much. Epic Games truly made an amazing game. Although something is off. In a match against bots offline, one of them was playing as General RAAM, a Locust character in a DLC I don't have. Apparently,
he's actually already on the disk, and I have to pay to unlock him. Why isn't RAAM an in-game unlock??? I like unlocking stuff in video games. During the PS2 era, content in games were available instantly without the need of downloading them. The Dreamcast
had DLC, but they were free. Microsoft, could you make all the available DLC as free in-game unlocks please? Everything is already on the disk. It doesn't make sense to have to pay for something that could easily be an in-game unlock. Who cares about business?
Who cares about money? It's about gaming.

Titanfall

As far as I know both dlc packs are in normal rotation as long as everyone owns the dlc. I've played all the dlc maps in last Titan standing play list.

Can't join co-op due to different DLC

all you have to do is remove all the dlc apart from day one dlc and start a new game the same with your friend get dressed and they can join add all dlc you want as long as your friend has it as well

I remember I felt that way with mass effect 3 when i got it. But now that I am a bit older.....I can understand that game studios need funding to progress maybe if a dlc sells well you get more you know and the game continues.

so many games I would love to see that had more. I like too look at the bright side there will likely be a new gears after this one unlike dark souls ~sniff~

DLC was good..now its just a competition between these games publishing companies, to see who can charge the most for the crappest DLC.

I also hate unlock DLC ... play the game for 80 hours and earn the unlocks or buy all the weapon unlocks for a couple of quid.

pointless playing the game if you unlock all the weapons before you play it. happens on BFBC2 all the time,.

Does the season pass only unlock certain packs? Or does it unlock all the dlc present and yet to come?

I am still having trouble unlocking the associated achievements... according to Bioware, uninstalling & redownloading the DLC may fix it. I deleted all the DLC for DA2 and redownloaded all of it, then used Sebastian in the final mission and nothing ever
unlocked yet. When I get some time I am planning on uninstalling the game and all DLC again to give it another chance.

I have heard that the character skins are all unlockable through gameplay, but the preorder codes and DLC just instantly unlock them for you. Is this true?
