All Digital game download get stuck at 8 gb after march update

HI all,

I m facing one unique issue after the march update, any game i tried downloading get stuck at 8 gb. i have already reset my console 2-3 times and followed all ways support told me still no solution. smaller game <8gb get installed fine but new and big digital
download fails and get stuck showing installation stopped.

Issues with Halo MCC

I have a question for all that digitally downloaded preorder or not. I have the full 59.1 GB install complete, what else am I waiting for?? My download still says 100% and I am literally stuck in limbo unless I uninstalled the whole game completely and started from scratch. What could be holding me back? Is there another download/update that is like huge that's taking a while or after the 59.1 GB is done I should already be playing

Even the digital version will not download. It is stuck at 7.15/41.74 GB

Let's see what we can do to get your games installed. What happens when your games reach 8GB? Do you receive any specific error message or code that you can provide to us?

There's a couple guides you should take a look at and read through. There's a lot of troubleshooting steps to take on them so be sure to attempt all the steps as provided in the

downloading games troubleshooter and the guide for
troubleshooting slow game/app downloads. If your console is currently connected to your network via Wi-Fi, please try connecting via Ethernet cable to see if that helps the issue.

Let us know if the guides helped at all and if not we can try something else.

I don't get any error message it just shows that "Installation Stopped". I am using cable broadband and any game I try to download get stuck at 8gb, if I cancel and install again from beginning it downloads at good speed until I get to 8.00gb. Funny thing
is all live status it shows are okay, when support told me to send it for repair after running all possible guides, I tried using my phones 4G connection which connects as IPv4&IPv6 and wola!! it downloads and crossed 9gb but cant use that to download full
40-50gb game. So again I m stuck with failed installation. Never faced these problem before march update...don't know how relevant is that to this issue.

 

Hey, thanks for that extra info! The fact that downloading over your phone's hotspot makes me think this is something on the side of your internet. Is your console connected to your home network via Ethernet cable or via Wi-Fi? If you're currently using
a wireless connection, try connecting using an Ethernet cable to see if the issue persists. Also, are you trying to install to your console's hard drive or to an external hard drive?

If an Ethernet cable still doesn't work, post back with your network hardware information, including the make/model of your modem and router, and your ISP.

Gonna try new ISP(finger crossed)...if that doesn't work then will send the console for repair

Thank you....looks like it was the issue with ISP.....on the new ISP its working fine
