All control pads disconnect

hello, I have purchased an Xbox One and the control pad that came with it keeps disconnecting. Because this was frustrating I decided to buy one of the new Call of Duty Advanced Warfare control pad and this keeps disconnecting too so I am guessing the problem
must be with the console.

my question is : what do I do to get this problem sorted out?

Day One Controller Faulty?

Yes day one pad, ive been offered a replacement console by Amazon but id have to download all my games etc again and I dont even know if that will fix it?

who else has the problem of control pads disconnecting all the time ?

 

I should add that I have gone through all of the steps in the announcement above.

The disconnect can happen at any time, in game, on the dashboard while I'm not even touching the controller and when I have a completely full battery!

Control pads are updated.

I've done everything and I am still having this problem.

 

I'm still having this problem and no one has had the courtesy to even reply to my message!

3 control pads now have the same problem and I have a totally different console which has the exact same problem!

Is it time for Microsft to admit that they have messed up what was the worlds best control pad?

It would be in your best interest to set up a repair for your console or to set up and advanced exchange.

In any event, you would want to have the console repaired OR replaced at the local retailer if possible. I see its been a few months.

i share your pain madmartinmarsh. i also have the same problem.

ive tried new control pads, alkaline batteries, removing interfering devices and hard resets of the console.

ive tried my control pads on other consoles and they work perfectly, i take them back to my console and they start disconnecting frequently again.

ive tried charging them for days, still no joy.

ive tried gaming at another house but i get the same problem there.

my controllers and my console have all the latest updates.

the one and only way i can use my xbox one day one console is to permanently connect my control pads to the console via the provided usb charging cable but that means i have to sit a lot closer to the screen and i can never go wireless
