All channels is set to 0.

Hi all,

I live in Sweden and has just got the tv tuner. When I go thru the setup Im ask to provide a zip code. I skip this, because it seam to not recognize my zip code. However when I make the scan, 20 channels show up and says scanning complete. The
only thing all the channels are set to 0. I store the channel list and start watching tv. But nothing shows up. It’s completely dark.

When I go to OneGuide no channels are there, It prompts me to “Set up your USB TV tuner”. Which I already have done. I can go thru the process again, channels are there but set to channel 0.

I have tried to make a hard reset, with no luck.

Any Swedes out there that has got the tv tuner to work?

Any Ideas?

reset set all games back to 0

TV Remote Code Issue

A little more testing showed that channels 1-13 need the preceding 0, not all channels that start with 1.

Hi Skakiz,

Sometimes the channels are set to 0 because we don't have USB Tuner guide data for Sweden. Tuning to the channels should work, but you won't have updated guide data (though you can tune fine).

Thanks all. Sounds like something PS Pro supports but maybe not all HDR monitors and TVs do...

To approximate the HDR experience, I set the color bit-depth to 10, and the color-space to "PC RGB" which I gather just means use the full 0-255 (or 0-1023?) range for each channel.

On my Samsung 4k tv, I set the color-space to "native" and the HDMI black-level to "low" which I gather are the respective settings on the TV.

It isn't the same as the HDR rendering but it's noticeably richer color, deeper blacks etc, and works at 1080p/120hz and 1440p/120hz.

The pass through is not enough!

If you change the standard list of TV programs than it does not fit to the Xbox. Channel change needs a lot of time. If you e.g. change to a channel at position 100 Kinect send 1 0 0. This takes time. And you cannot simple switch up and down trough the channels.
I need only aprox. 20 channels. But because of not changing the channel order (see above) some of them are at 300. Not acceptable!
