All BC titles on Xbox One won't connect to Live

Discus and support All BC titles on Xbox One won't connect to Live in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I am on whatever preview build is up.     All BC titles on Xbox One won't connect to Live


    I am on whatever preview build is up. Current Xbox One games all connect fine, but even offline games on BC won't connect (BioShock Infinite, etc.).

    Geometry Wars Retro Evolved no longer launching on x1.

    He's referring to Geometry Wars Retro Evolved which is the first title. It was backwards compatible at one point but has since been removed from the BC site and won't launch on Xbox one consoles.

    connection to store issues on console

    Xbox store won't let me make purchases won't connect to the store. Did a detailed network test and it says all good but still won't work. Xbox can't even do a factory reset bc of "Connection"

    Purchased a map pack for WAW on my 360. Three times now its downloaded to 99% then says cannot download content

    When you say you checked your region settings what do you mean

    With waw and bc titles specifically

    Your account. Region Must match your actual.Region.

    So if you don't live.in a xbox live region.it won't work.

    What region do you live im

    For example if your account region is USA and you live in Jamaica that won't work

    If you select France but you select.us English on xbox one that wont work either

    Bc titles don't support. Language or region indepence that's only current gen or next gen feature

    Since you don't live in a xbox live region you can't download bc titles

    Bc titles are geo locked

    Purchasing Backwards Compatible Games

    Should be noted that your account region MUST be set to your actual region along with console and language regions for bc titles or you will continue to have issues with bc titles its one of the requirements of xbox live

    no as xbox one servers are different from xbox 360

    They are al one connection rwgardless.of type

    But two.different status

    Your are connecting to azure servers on xbox one

    Vs.the old matchmaking servers of xbox 360

    I don't think you fully understand how bc works

    In order to use bc content you must be connected to live for a reasom

    You need to download the patch before you can use new bc titles from disk

    You do not need to be connected to live once you download the patch and no you do not need to have gold.for the patch but only if you need.matchmaking

    FYI xbox home gold doesn't apply to xbox 360 live

    It only applies on the account with actual gold

    Ingame content still.needs to be connected to live

    But unless you are using multiplqyer content you don't need gold
