All audio cuts out occasionally

Hello,

I have noticed that while playing a game (the evil within-not recommended) after loading a new map or a cut scene, the audio would go out completely. It did not mute my tv/receiver. It wasn't only in game, going back to the dash and going through the dash
didn't make any sounds as well. The only fix I found was saying "xbox mute" and "xbox unmute" and it would work again. This also happened before with I believe shadow of mordor (recommended).

I found a temporary fix but obviously something is up with the xbox OS.

XBox One - Audio - Stopped working

Occasionally I'll loose audio with this game too. I'll finish a match and the audio will just cut out. Very Strange. Some times it even knocks out my whole systems audio thought the stero headset. This has happened when the controller disconnects randomly
while playing game.

I have my audio cut out all the time. Gets VERY frustrating at times.

 

Also it seems to occur randomly, in total probably 8 times. So not the biggest issue but worth checking out. I wonder if anyone else has had the same issue.

 

Same here happened on forza horizon 2 but only hit the button to go to home and sound started working again only been happening since the 100% packet loss started

 

Interesting, I just got forza horizon 2 and started playing it (maybe an hour) and it hasn't happened yet in that game. I think for shadow of mordor I just went to the menu and moved around a little/open another app and it worked.

 

Same issue with sound just randomly going out. Has happened about a half dozen times now. Not sure why you would specify what game it happened with as I see no connection with the issue but never the less info is info: was playing assassins creed unity,
assassins creed black flag, and believe it happened with monopoly as well.

No matter what I try, I cannot get the sound back; and as another stated, it does not effect TV sound-only xbox one sound. As odd as it is, our 'solution' is to simply wait for next day and Walla-sound on xbox one is back. Beats the crap out of me what
is going on but this is only one of several issues we are experiencing and at this point I regret the purchase and feel scammed out of hard earned money.

 

I concur with the previous posts, audio randomly mutes for games but not for Xbox home screen. I have observed Sky Landers Trap Team audio cease on several occasions; however when I go the the Xbox home screen I can hear audio as I move between selections.
The only way to start game audio again was to eject the disk, reinsert and start the game again.

 

@cloudvaulter I though at first it could have been game dependent but don't think that is the case anymore.

Anyways, it is a nuisance and glad I/my xbox isn't the only one experiencing it. Now to find a way to get some support staff to acknowledge the issue and fix it.
