All 4 app just terrible on Xbox One - UK Users

Sigh.. decided to use my Xbox One today to watch some tv using the All 4 app which works perfectly on every platform i've tried....

Unfortunately not on the Xbox One, for example if i go to 'Box Sets / Peep Show (comedy)' i know there are around 7 seasons of the show available, however every single episode is named the exactly the same, so if i want to watch episode 1 from season 4 i
basically have no way of finding it. - This also seems to be the case with most of the boxed sets making the app useless.

Also in 'Box Sets / Peep Show (comedy)' there are two rows and if i click across to the top row and then try to click down to the bottom row - i can't, as it seems to be a bug and will only let me do this from the first block of the row.

What is happening with quality control these days, are they just employing a few monkeys to press buttons or what ?

Also i can't use Plex on Xbox One as there is no 'View by Folder' option which is essential if you have thousands of files - again this is available on every single format but not Xbox One or 360 - Why ?

This is starting to get frustrating !

I just watched about 10 minutes of gameplay using the Twitch app on the Xbox One - the gameplay looks terrible... :|

 

Nfl app and Sunday ticket

Just terrible. I can't watch any games at all. I think it's the NFL apps fault and I wish Direct TV would have a stand alone app. I don't think blaming MS is an answer but I hope it's going to be fixed. I paid $230 to watch my team on my xbox one. It does
work on my PS3 but it looks not so good. THe NFL app is terrible. Please fix that app soon

 

I know your not going to believe this, I mean everybody thinks that if its on an Xbox then its Microsoft responsibility to maintain it etc but in this case it isn't.

Basically apps are the responsibility of the developer, not Microsoft. So in this case its whoever coded the All 4 app.

All you can do is inform Microsoft and hope it gets fixed.

Thanks for the reply, yeah i've sent off an email using All 4 website, but don't expect to hear back from them.

It's just getting a bit frustrating stuff not working properly and unless enough of us 'whinge' about stuff like this then it just won't get fixed or someone on these forums tell me they aren't having these issues themselves, then i can see if it's my setup.

Talk to the developers, not overly keen for the all 4 app on iphone tbh.

I've contacted them, but won't hold my breath... probably just get the usual generic response that large companies send out these days.

 

Yep which is why I don't bother, I just don't use it.

 

Well at least i got a quick response from them, it'll be interesting to see if they fix it though as expected it is fairly generic - see below if you're having the same issues as me !
