Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem is a free rental this weekend on Xbox Video

It's not exactly the best film in the world but it's worth a watch since it is free.

Personally I enjoy it once the action kicks off. Which is why I skipped chapters =)

Also I find it fun to listen for the sound effects lifted from Aliens.

This is an absolute joke for Microsoft to offer this film on a free movie weekend. Not only is it more than 6 years old and a terrible movie, but Film 4 are showing it free in the UK at 2am or 3am on Film 4+1 or free on their website this morning, which
basically gives you an indication of this films quality. Microsoft, not to sound ungrateful but anyone with a TV in the UK could watch this free this weekend and at regular intervals at the countless other times it has been shown, so you are not really offering
your gold subscribers anything for free with this give away. Microsoft, you must try harder I'm afraid.

 

I liked this movie. Not a scratch on the first one, but still worth a watch like you say. I hope they reboot this saga because I do think the potential is there. Just don't let Bay on it. lol.

 

Not the best in the franchise and littered with bad dialogue and "erm...." moments in the "story", but worth a watch for the action scenes.

Terrible film, Fargo, Burn After Reading, Usual Suspects, The Big Lebowski. God give people a classic for free.

 

Hammer Horror double on Horror channel tonight folks!

 

Can't remember what the other 2 choices were now but you could vote on 1 of 3 fims to be free & this won.

It was the best of the 3 though.

 

This weekend's offering is 'Iron Sky - Dictators cut' - Moon *** anyone?

 

Ok - German troops on the moon then..

 

Sounds riveting..... Pencil me in !

 

I liked Iron Sky, cheesey as heck, but entertaining all the same..
