    alien isolation xbox one problem with install


    hi. i have a problem with alian isolation game for xbox one. i can not install update for it. first i try to install game with xbox one online. the game install stoped at 20%. then i had uninstall it. trayed again. same resolt. then i turn xo offline
    and the game was able to finish install. xbox one online, tyred to play game, says need update, ok, and update stopt at 20%. i xbox one is saying: corrupt file, try to uninstall and install it again. i m trying four days now to play this game. disk is new.
    i bought it new. in store refused to gife refund, beacuse i had open the box and disk looks good (no skratc or anything alse). just one day before i put far cry 4 with season pass and forza 5 on xbox one with no problems. what can i do? thanks

    Hi samir tian,

    Sorry you're having issues installing your games. Try doing the following.

    I. Uninstall and Reinstall

    1. Say “Xbox, go to my games and apps” or open My games and apps on the Home screen.
    2. Select Games.
    3. Highlight the game you want to uninstall, press the Menu button, then select Manage game.
    4. Select Manage all, select Uninstall all, and then select Uninstall.
    II. Hard Reset the console.

    1. With the console ON hold the power button for 5-10 seconds until the console powers off.
    2. Turn the console back on and expect a longer boot time.
    III. Clear persistant Storage

    1. On the Home screen Press Menu and select Settings
    2. Select Disc & Blue-ray
    3. Clear the persistent storage.
    IV. Reinstall the Game offline with
    these steps    .

    i did it all (just not hard reset). betwen first and second time i tryed to install alien, i installed forza 5 with no problem. after second time (of trying installing alien) i installed shadow of mordor with no problem. i have usb 3.0 disc (with extra power)
    4TB with 52 games on it. i dont see why is just this game doing so much problems. every game i buy i buy it new in store (so disc i thing is not a problem). problem is update for this game. I contacted official support (manufacturers of game) and they:
    we do not refund, if you like to play, we will try to help you. and that is all of them.

    Have you tried installing to the internal drive, and verified you have enough room? 52 games is a quite a lot.

    no, on internal disk i did not tryed to install it. i have still lot of space (4TB external disk). . for example: today for first time i have bought ea access for one month (to see what it is all about) and I downloaded few trial games (nfs, plants, ...)
    and all is up and running. as i see on internet, i m not the only one with problems on this stupid game Alien isolation
