Alien Isolation (Mod edit: Possible spoilers).

I'm on Chapter 11 now. The Alien isn't around and the androids aren't too difficult to kill with a combo of the stun baton and a few hammer hits to the head. I'm glad I finished chapter 10 because it was pretty difficult, but I've read that it was the longest
chapter by far.

So far chapter 11 is easy going. Humans are easy to kill, but I like to watch the androids do it. They are vicious.

I've also seen a lot of reviewers say that the checkpoints were spaced out too far, but I disagree. I think they are spaced perfectly.

The only thing I do not like about this game are the screen freezes for a half second. It's not a big deal so I hope it's just not my console.

 

Grey, there are a few automatic checkpoints, but usually some kind of cut scene will play first or a major event will happen.

Brand, I actually forgot until I read your post, but there were a few loading screens that appeared to completely freeze on me, but it would always come good again if I just left it. Not once did I have the game fully freeze on me. So I think it might be
the game, definitely not your console.

 

It would be when I'm walking it would be a really bad frame rate drop to where it would stutter really bad.

 

Oh right, yeah I can't say that ever happened to me! Though the game did appear to have a tendency to lock up, so hopefully it's just the game and nothing more serious.

Sweet it saved, thank the great android in the sky . Oh man I was gutted it crashed on me I thought I was back to where I started.

I did Leave in a good 5 minutes just in-case but no joy.

Finally got that mission done last night, met up with a Joe with my electric stick and yep it was a tread giving them a zap and a few clonks over the head hehe. No more death by Joe .

I finally got smoke bombs and molotov's too . Just the flame-thrower to go.

Same here Bran, no frame rate drops as of yet. Its either crashed completely or it has worked fine. I am on the 360 though and thinking you guys are using xbox one?.

Hope chapter 11 is fun for you . I am only on 6 I think, just got back to the transit station after a long game of cat and mouse.

Was cracking fun and terrifying . I made it into a room and there were a few humans milling about. Was just hanging around behind a box deciding if they were friendly and suddenly it was no longer a worry.

The Xeno dropped into the middle of them and took care of the lot lol. I swiftly vanished down a vent in the floor and left them too it. It has aged me this game hehe. .

Dead Space lets you play through again with all your acquired stuff. Then you just get to own everything. I wish AI did the same thing. I would have started up another game immediately. Being able to go through the game feeling more like a bad *** is the
perfect reward for finishing.

 

^I'm not saying that's a bad thing in Dead Space, I've got all the achievements for the 3 games, so I know the fun of tearing through it.

It was just the best comparison I could make, I thought Aliens would be a game where the second time around I wouldn't be worried, but my heart races just as fast as the first time and I was only trying to prove how well they've made Aliens as a survival
horror. It's nearly the perfect example of it in my opinion.

 

I had the game crash twice on me last night, but then it ran ok. I had to play a different game to make sure my console was ok. It is.

I keep getting rail gun ammo so I'm assuming a rail gun is around somewhere. I just started chapter 14. Only 5 chapters to go. I can't wait to beat it so I can play it on easy and have a proper look around.

 

Glad to hear your console seems to be OK Bran, it's a bit gutting when they break hey. Rail gun ammo?, NICE . Can't wait to get some of that lol. Finally got the flame thrower so happy days .

 

I'll just let you know that you can't progress without picking up the rail gun, so don't stress trying to find it!

 

I got the gun and it's actually a bolt gun lol. It's a beast though against the really difficult Joe's.
