Alien: Isolation Lag

    Alien: Isolation Lag


    So I just started playing Alien: Isolation. The first thing I noticed was the input lag, which was about 1/3-1/2 of a second when looking around. Does anyone know if this is normal and just part of the game, or is this a problem, and if so, how do I fix
    it? Also, I don't think that it is a problem with my television (although I could be wrong), since other games don't have nearly as much input lag.

    Alien: Isolation Lag

    I don't notice any input lag.

    Do you have extra features activated on your TV?

    The more processing the TV has to do the more input lag you will notice.

    If your TV has a game mode use that otherwise switch off extra features like the 100/200htz mode as they just increase processing time which means more noticeable input lag.

    Go into the advanced tv settings and turn off features like motion blur. Motion blur could have many names. If your tv is advertised as having a 120Htz mode or some other Hertz mode higher than 60 then it has a motion blur feature which should be disabled
